Q: Why do you not recycle glass anymore?

A: As of July 1 2007, Crown Shred & Recycling Inc has stopped glass collection. Due to sorting & handling hazards to our employees, at this time glass collection is on hold.

Q: Where can I recycle paint?

A: Sarcan is accepting all used paint for recycle. Please contact the local Sarcan in your area for more information.

Q: What type of plastics can I recycle with Crown Shred & Recycling Inc.?

A:Crown Shred & Recycling is the only company in Saskatchewan that accepts all plastics with the numbers 1 - 7 found on the bottom in the recycle triangle. This includes all household plastics, for example: ketchup & mustard containers, margarine, yogurt, shampoo, laundry, milk cartons & jugs plus all grocery/garbage bags.

Q: What other materials does Crown Shred & Recycling Inc. accept?

A: We accept for recycling:

  • Office paper, news print, flyers, junkmail
  • Cardboard & Boxboard, magazines, phonebooks, hard cover & soft cover books.
  • All tin & aluminium
  • all household plastics
