RESIDENTIAL CURBSIDE COLLECTION is a service available to all residents of Regina, Moose Jaw, Pilot Butte, White City and Emerald Park. The Towns of Lumsden & Regina Beach have a mandated program for all residents. With our bi-weekly Blue Box program, Crown Shred can help divert approximately 85% of your household waste from your local landfill! An easy and convenient way to divert your waste from the garbage stream and accomplish your commitment to recycling. All of your recycling can be picked up at one location - your home! Let us give you a convenient, time saving and hassle free way to recycle all year round. Sorting requirments & information for Regina, Pilot Butte, White City, Emerald Park, Regina Beach & Lumsden Provided with service : - 2 blue bins

- Bi-weekly collection
1st BLUE BOX - Aluminum containers & tin cans
- Milk cartons & milk jugs
- Plastic beverage bottles, cereal box bags, plastic grocery & garbage bags, and any household plastic with a number 1 - 7 on the bottom in the recycling logo.
2nd BLUE BOX: - Brown paper bags and tissue roll cores
- Corrugated cardboard and paperboard (cereal) boxes
- Magazines and catalogues
- Telephone books
- Junk mail, envelopes, newspaper & flyers
- Letter-quality paper
- Gift wrap and packing paper
BLUE BAGS Please use your blue bags for any extra paper/cardbaord materials that will fit. SORRY, we do not accept: - Glass bottles and jars
- Styrofoam
- Plastic food or product wrap
- Household garbage
- Ceramics
- Window glass
- Light bulbs
- Plastic motor oil or hazardous chemical containers
- Unclassified plastic items such as toys
- Recyclables that are not properly rinsed or prepared

Moose Jaw Curbside Recycling Crown Shred & Recycling Inc. offers a bi-weekly collection of all paper, cardboard, plastic & tin from all residents within the City of Moose Jaw limits. The collection of material has recently been upgraded to provde a 2nd container to our customers. The Moose Jaw Curbside Collection includes: 1 blue rolling bin, 1 green rolling bin & a calendar outlining the alternating bi-weekly collection days. The bins are a 96 US Gallon contianer on wheels with a lid. Please sort as follows: Blue Bin - Newspaper, junkmail & flyers
- Cardboard & cereal box type materials
- Magazines, phone books
- Any fibre type material
Green Bin - Tin cans & aluminum containers
- Any household plastic with the number 1 - 7 on the bottom in the recycle logo
- All film - grocery & garbage bags
Please remember to - Have your bins out at the curb by 7:00 Am to ensure collection.
- Place bins on street side of curb with lid opening to street.
- Only put items that are recyclable in the bins. Bins will be monitored & any non recyclable item will either be left behind or cause your bin to be rejected for collection.

Lumsden Curbside Recycling In 2006 the Town of Lumsden implemented a mandatory Curbside Recycling program for all residents. It has been very successful with Crown Shred collecting & processing approximately 571,498 pounds of material in the 2 years! Way to go Lumsden residents! The service & collection information is the same as Regina & surrounding area. Any new resident to Lumsden is asked to contact Town Hall who will make arrangements with our office to have bins, bags & a calendar delivered. back to top
Regina Beach Curbside In 2008, the Town of Regina Beach has also mandated a Curbside Recycling Service for all residents. We are very excited to have them on board & will update how much material we are collecting from their community! All residents had their bins delivered June 11/2008. If you did not receive bins please contact the Town office. Please place bins at the end of your driveway & on the address side of your property. We accept all paper & cardboard material. If it would have gone in the Big Blue Bin, it will go into our bins. This includes all magazines, brown bags, envelopes, white or colored paper, flyers, junk mail, newspaper, cereal & tissue boxes, books or any other fiber material. Plastics are any household plastic container such as: yogurt, margarine, laundry, condiment containers, garbage bags, grocery bags or any plastic with the numbers 1 - 7 in the recycle triangle. back to top

GRADES OF PAPER Corrugated Cardboard - consists of corrugated containers having liners of either test liner, jute or kraft. Must be free of wax, plastic and boxboard. Mix Paper Consists of a clean, sorted mixture of various qualities of paper. News ( ONP #8) Consists of sorted, fresh newspapers, not sunburned, free of magazines, white blank and other non-newspaper. News (ONP #6) Consists of newspaper as typically generated from news drives and curb-side collection, magazines, boxboard, flyers (glossy) all okay to blend in. Requires a 50% news content. Sorted Office Paper A selective mixture of papers typically generated in offices, comprised primarly of white ledger but including color ledger, carbonless forms, envelopes and coated paper (except magazines) back to top
