Crown Shred & Recycling Inc. offers 1 Blue Rolling Bin, 1 Green Rolling Bin and bi-weekly collection ( download calendar ) of all paper, cardboard, plastic and tin from all residents within the City of Moose Jaw limits. The bins are a 96 US Gallon container on wheels with a lid.
Have your bins out at the curb by 7:00 Am to ensure collection. Place bins on street side of curb with lid opening to street. Only put items that are recyclable in the bins. Bins will be monitored and any non recyclable item will either be left behind or cause your bin to be rejected for collection.- Newspaper, junkmail and flyers
- Cardboard and cereal box type materials
- Magazines, phone books
- Any fibre type material
- Tin cans and aluminum containers
- Any household plastic with the number 1 - 7 on the bottom in the recycle logo
- All film - grocery and garbage bags
GROCERY BAGS
To minimize unnecessary litter:
- Please use your grocery bags for any shredded paper or any other household plastic materials such as lids, film and grocery bags.
SORTING REQUIREMENTS:
RINSE:
- Food tins and cans
- Milk cartons and jugs
FLATTEN:
- All cardboard boxes
- All boxboard material
REMOVE:
- Lids and caps
WE DO NOT ACCEPT:
- Light bulbs
- Styrofoam
- Window glass
- Household garbage
- Ceramics
- Plastic food or product wrap
- Glass bottles and jars
- Plastic motor oil or hazardous chemical containers
- Unclassified plastic items such as toys
- Recyclables that are not properly rinsed or prepared
